Our computer totally wigged out on us. For some reason we can access any site on the internet BUT any google site including gmail and any blogspot site. So for almost 10 days I have not been able to access email or blogs. So everyone out there that has a blog. I do still Love you but I can't read your blog anymore until further notice. And email is out of the question. But I do for some strange reason have access to facebook so I am not completely shut off from my access to the outside world.
Oh and by the way we close on our house on Monday.....
Wish us luck
More details when I have more access.
i have said access a lot in this post.

Water Fun

Now that Em's kids are out of school. We are trying to do some fun things everyday while
we still live together. So Monday we pulled out the new Crocodile pool and the Slip and Slide.
They were so excited and cute about it. It made me realize I need to try to do
more things like this on a regular basis.
Sofia like the pool only if the sprinkler was not on, it spouts out of his head.

Here is Noah in action on the Slip'N'Slide

Spencer announced that he was hyper and feeling wacky. He looks so grown up lounging in the pool
Kristin was making Sofia laugh so hard with the water.

Our Independence Day Celebration
(Above my favorite pic of the day, Noah protecting Baby from going into the street)
The last 3 or so years on the 4th of July we have crashed our friends the P* family celebration.
This year we now have an official standing invitation so I feel pretty honored.
Our very dear friends Matt and Mara and their boys were in town from across the world
so we make it a point to see them. There is always tons of yummy food. Good company
fun conversation, birthday parties for and aunt and for Bam Bam who turned 5.
I took Lemon Bars which were requested. Made me feel good and important.
As anyone who know the real me knows food prepartion is not my strongest trait.
All the cousins played a game of kick ball in the cul-de-sac.
Here is Noah running to first base. He came up to me after the game and said
"Mom, this party lots and lots of fun."
He made friends and was included in it all although he was not related.
What nice kids to make sure everyone had fun.

Sofia watched from the sidelines. Playing in dirt, picking up rocks and
tried to steal the other kids toys. All in the day of an 18 month old.
Matt and Kersten now have a tradition of taking off in the the middle of the party.
I think they go hiking or driving up the canyon just to have some guy friend time.
Here is my beautiful friend Mara and I, She always uplifts and inspires.
Mara is one of those friends no matter how long it has been it is like we see each other every day.
I love your genuine spirit and her enthusiasm for life, art and culture.
She is a very talented photographer check her website here
We watched as the men set off firecrackers.
Sofia and Noah both loved it. Even the loud ones did not bother them.
We came home before the big fireworks. Doo was just to tired. Noah is still talking about the party
On Sunday night we drove 45 min south to see my cousins on the E* side
I got to see most of my cousins, 7 of the 9 is not bad.
My cousin Barb who lives in Florida was a highlight and of course
Warren, the 21 yr old traveler living in NY.
The oldest runs a couple firework stands every year to earn $ so that
his brothers and sisters that live far away can fly back at least once a year.
They all help out and the 5th of July have a huge Bonanza of fireworks.
It was super cool. Noah and I just went because Sofia was beyond.
I don't think I have ever seen so many fireworks
and all the different kinds of bottle rockets.
I loved seeing my dear cousins children,
it was a bit uncanny seeing their faces in these little people.
Overall it was a great weekend of fun and great people.

Butterfly/Fairy birthday party for Sofia and Kristin

We had a Butterfly/Fairy Party last night to celebrate
Kristin's 11th birthday and
Sofia's 18 month birthday.
Here is the beautiful birthday fairy Sofia. We bought her this outfit for her 1/2 b-day.
When we brought out the skirt to put it on. She says "ooohh, squeal" I think she like

Here is my favorite. She played in the flowers and waved her magic fairy wand
around the garden. You could tell she felt really pretty. She really is just such a girl

Noah asked if he could bring some manliness to the party. His words not mine.
So he wore his Captain Rex costume.
We told the guests that they could come dressed as fairies or butterflys
Nik and Lena came ready to play. Nik has angel wings which is ironic.
Lena had these awesome wings she borrowed from her mom.

Here are the girls. Kristin is wearing her dance costume.
We took some really cute pics of the two bday girls
They all really got into dressing up. It was sweet
Daddy pick up her cake at Costco. I had a great Idea for a butterfly cake but I ran out of time
He did a great job. I love the frog and the wand.

She got some cool fairy books, a book called Princess Baby, some butterfly wings,
a princess puzzle and some accessories for her baby.
Afterwards we had a sweet moment playing with her favorite doll, Bella
She fed it peas, gave it a bottle, changed it's stinky diaper and gave
her baby lots of loves. It was really really fun and quite tender for me
I love the she loves dolls. I was a doll girl too.
She even had to put them to bed before her
She lined them up and put a blanket over them and patted them on the belly

Here are the deocrations.
She had her 18 month appt today
weight is 24lbs 2 oz in the 52%
Height 32 1/2 inchs in the 70% she grew always been in the 50%
Head circ: 47cm in the 52%
Very very fun party..... I think all the attended had an excellent time
