Lovely West Elm to Share

I love the site and store  West Elm.  I often wonder over to search and dream.  Well I just looked at the Easter stuff and their decorative pillows and this is what I turned up.

 These eggs are just so lovely.  The fact that they are made in Austria, thrills me to my core.

This is a beautiful tradition.  I love this part of Kersten's Heritage.

 I love the colors.  I love that they are Scandinavian to remind us of Kersten's mission.

David Stark Twig Topiary

I ADORE this topiary Tree.  And it would look so lovely with my eggs hanging from it.

I love the little birds. The white branches.

Feel like Grown Ups...

In my dreams I have a beautiful bed 

with a head and footboard and in rich black antiqued to look old.

In reality I just had a mattress and a box spring.

In our house our bedroom is really not that big.

A bed like in my dreams would close in the room and make it very small.

So I have been dreaming up what would work for over a year now.

I think I have it figured out.

And the headboard I was thinking of was half off

so I bought it

and it makes me, oh so very happy.

(My camera has been taking fuzzy pics lately,  it is making me worry)

Kerst was a little reluctant at first.

Now he says he feels like an official grown up with a headboard on our bed.

He even said he should just trust me when it comes to stuff like this.

I think I need to get that on tape as evidence for later.

I smile every time I walk in my room.

Who knew something so little could make such a difference.

Now I need to paint our nightstands, 

find a new bedspread,  finally switch the lamps over, 

find a painting for over our bed..etc......

I found this website that I love online. I was looking for new toys for Noah and Sofia and found this. It is a "Green" website where everything will also help the enviroment. That had some really charming and fun homemade things. Here are two of my favs

These are my absolute favorite thing I saw on this site. I love these felt sugar cookies. They don't look to hard to make if you sew, which I don't much. I love that it comes with a box, wrapped with a bow
